Installation and Configuration of Apache on Windows is diifferent from that of Linux-based OS.

Steps included are:
* Installation process.
* Setting our IPv4 number in "httpd" file (Port 80 for http).
* Allowing Apache Server Application through the Windows Firewall
* Files on the server should be saved in "htdocs". The folder location can also be changed by changing the address in "DocumentRoot" and "Directory".
* The locally hosted files can be accessed using the IP address.

The complete website management package - WAMP (Windows Apache MySQL PHP or Perl or Python) can be used for complete web development.
